Welcome to the grand launch of Education Week at St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School, Jinja Karoli! We are incredibly excited to share the highlights of Day One, which marks the beginning of an enriching week dedicated to holistic learning, community impact, and character development. This special educational initiative, originating from the Kampala Archdiocese, inspires our student body and faculty to look beyond traditional academic borders and engage meaningfully with the world around them. Day One has set a powerful, positive tone for the rest of the week, demonstrating how faith, academic direction, and community action can merge beautifully to create a long-lasting impact.
The core focus of Day One was dedicated entirely to environmental stewardship and sustainability. True to the powerful event theme, “Our environment, Our future, Our responsibility,” our school community enthusiastically took action by planting trees across the campus grounds. In a wonderful display of teamwork, students dressed in their smart pink uniforms worked side-by-side with their teachers, using shovels and watering cans to carefully nurse new saplings into the earth. By reserving and protecting our natural environment today, the Aquinian family is actively investing in a greener tomorrow, proving that true education teaches us to be responsible caretakers of the world we inherit.
As we continue to move forward as a leading Source of Knowledge and Wisdom, we invite all parents, alumni, and well-wishers to stay closely connected with our ongoing journey. There are many more exciting activities lined up for the remainder of this Education Week, and we want you to be a part of it.
