Welcome to The St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School Weekly Bulletin for Week 3, running from June 8th to June 14th, 2026. This week, our main highlights center around three pivotal pillars of our school culture: Elections, Blood Donation, and Moral Training. We are incredibly proud to spotlight our Student of the Week, Santinah from S.3N. Santinah recently won a highly competitive school vote by a narrow difference of just one single vote, proving that every individual voice and contribution matters in our community.
A major highlight of the week was our lifesaving Blood Donation Drive, where “The Aquinians save a life!” On Friday 12th, our students and teachers showed great love, selflessness, and civic responsibility by coming together for a voluntary blood donation exercise in partnership with the Nakasero Blood Bank. Because a single pint of blood can save up to three lives, we want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who stepped up to participate. You are all true heroes for giving back to the wider community in such a profound way.
Looking ahead, we have an exciting lineup of upcoming events scheduled for the following week, including the announcement of voting results on the 15th, the official Swearing-In of Prefects on the 17th, and an educational Geography Trip on the 19th. We also want to wish a very happy upcoming birthday to our students Bukenya Cyrus, Namakula Tania, Mubiru Lawerance, and our teacher Mr. Friday. Let us keep our minds focused on this week’s theme: “Your determination and positive attitude can take you very far,” while anchoring our hearts in our weekly Bible verse from Proverbs 3:5, reminding us to trust in the Lord completely.
